Job Purpose / Mission
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you’ll provide consultation to all facets of the development lifecycle. You will enjoy working on a variety of projects- often in a leadership capacity. You will be charged with mentoring junior developers, and will apply your experience to help shape process within the engineering group.
Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Gather, document and communicate requirements and solution
· Lead architecture, design and implementation of the projects
· Ensure the quality of applications through formal testing and documentation
· Maintain the integrity of application source code and underlying data through the use of version control systems
· Orchestrate efforts of internal and extended technical team by delegating tasks and monitoring progress
4-6 years of experience with:
· MS.NET Framework using C#
· ASP.NET web forms paradigm
· SOA / .NET Web Services
· Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
· XML / XSLT, X/HTML. Experience in other markup languages is a plus.
· Javascript and CSS
· Subversion, CVS, SourceSafe, or similar version control software
· JIRA, FogBugz, Bugzilla, or other issue tracking system
· Familiar with optimizing query performance in MS SQL Server 2005
2+ years experience with:
· ASP.NET AJAX or equivalent AJAX toolkit
· Experience working with a .NET CMS (Sitecore, Kentico, or similar)
· Windows Forms applications
· Nant or MSBuild
· Database views, triggers, and stored procedures
· IIS configuration in an enterprise-level environment
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
· ASP.NET 3.5
· Sitecore 6 CMS
· Silverlight
· Windows Server administration
· Unit Testing Frameworks
· Basic knowledge of C++, Java, or Flash
