Resume Tip #29: Career Coaches and Counselors

I don’t trust people who tell me they know something about a subject they have never actually practiced. For example, I rewrite resumes on a daily basis for real jobs and get people interviews and offers. How does one write effective resumes without ever having done some sort of HR or recruiting? I don’t know.
