As you expect the recruiter to respect you, respect the recruiter. Recruiters can hold the key to your dream job so if you don’t treat the recruiter with respect he may never call you back.
This should serve to remind you that while the recruiter is building a relationship with you, you ought to build a relationship with the recruiter. Don’t think that it’s the recruiter’s job to find you one; it’s not unless you pay him.
